CAJUN ZYDECO CONNECTION LAST REMINDER - SHRIMP BOIL
================== Annual SHRIMP BOIL, Now At MARGARETs ==================
Come one, come all to CZCs Annual Shrimp Boil on July 23rd from 5-9pm!! This annual event, started by longtime CZC member Naomi Ashworth, has always been one of the highlights of the year for the Zydophiles and Cajuholics of North Alabama!! With plenty of food, music and fun, its the closest thing to a genuine fais-do-do this side of the Atchafalaya. This year, with Naomis planned move to Acadiana, the location of the Shrimp Boil has been moved to Margaret Phillips stately horse farm out in beautiful Moontown, Alabama (see map below) but many of the traditions will remain the same. Hal Beach will be spinning the CZ CDs, our wooden dance floor will be set up for your dancing pleasure and Martin will be cooking up the shrimp, corn, sausages and potatoes.
Theres no admission charge but please bring a potluck dish to share and BYOB. You may also want to bring a portable chair and bug spray/mosquito repellant. Also, if you can help setup starting around 3:30, please let Steve know at
